Those pics are just lovely, and portraiture is not easy to do. I kind of get a snap shot of these two people, feel who they are. So yea…the comments were overdue:)
I Hear You. Lately all I want to do is watch Mad Men & True Blood… ha ha. I’ve had a very lazy labor day weekend, but I’m sure I’ll be back in that manual with a camera in hand soon enough. Thanks for your comments on my pics.

You have me in full agreement regarding reading the camera manual, the practice of photographing regularly and exploring good photography by others. I’ve been struggling to do all three every day, but boy is it tough. I would say I have 80% success rate…and it already feels like an accomplishment! Discipline is a tough nut to crack:)
So glad you’re inspired. I love your description of reading the camera manual and couldn’t agree more. That’s why I’ve got mine as a PDF and just scroll through and pick a page I think I can tackle.

Really? I think your gorgeous & very photogenic.
See now thats why I normally fear cameras. Most of the time I look kind of like a muscular 12 year old boy who has had his nose broken too many times…
These are all great, I am of course partial to the ones of kimmie and her mamma.
