Susanne & Scott Get Wed

Susanne and Scott. 2010 It’s sometime in the early 90′s and I’m handed a cassette tape of Gruntruck’s Push album. It soon becomes my summer soundtrack. It’s one of my favorite albums of that time period. I was living in an artist collective loft above the Rendezvous Bar in Belltown, Washington. Pearljam was rehearsing in the…

These are such joyful photos! I’m excited for you!

[...] I’ve been totally thrilled these last few weeks having one of my weddings featured in the weddings of note section of the latest Seattle Bride Magazine. I’ve had my work used for publications before this but this is the first time I’ve been able to see the finished product on my local supermarket magazine rack. It gives me goose bumps right now every time I see the magazine on the stand knowing one of my photographs is in this major publication. It especially excites me that it’s from a personally significant wedding for me that I still hold close to my heart. Susanne and Scott’s wedding day was beautiful and amazing. I’m honored I was chosen to capture it. I’m so happy that it’s getting a little spotlight right now. Days like that, and especially people like Susanne and Scott, deserve it! You can see my photos from the day here. [...]

Jonas, I have been waiting to see this wedding. You owned it, my friend! The Georgetown Ballroom has never looked so fresh. I am sure Susanne and Scott are stoked. Especially love that last shot!

I love these shots so much! They are gorgeous! How did you know you were ready to shoot weddings? My little brother wants me to shoot his next August… I want to, but I am terrified of getting in over my head!

Sherin & Michael Get Married

Sherin and Michael. 2010 Where do I begin? This was such an awesome event. Not just because I had the unique opportunity to shoot with 8 different cameras in one day (three Canon 5D’s, 2 Holgas, a lomography 360 spinner, a Fuji Film Instax 210 Instant Camera, and an iPhone 4 with Camera+ app), but…
