We always want our favorite artists to conform to our own personal demands for them. It’s unfair really. It’s like we don’t actually want them to ever change. To explore. To grow. We want them to Do it again. Do it again. All the while, each and every one of us would hate that kind of constraint on ourselves.

I’m sad to see one of my all time favorite bands breaking up, but I’m excited for all their individual projects to come. I’m looking forward to my life’s new soundtrack.
