After my first experiment with making a stop motion short (see earlier post Hands), I’ve become a little more ambitious. This was created entirely from nearly 1,000 stills taken with my Canon EOS 5D DSLR. The music is a piece called ‘Big Milk’ by Dan Deacon. My friend Adam Briehl stars. I hope you enjoy it. The video may take a few moments to load.
pretty freakin deep…I love it
Bro your a little darksided…. just a little. But it was creative none the less.
Hi Jonas
That’s great! Loved it.

Very nice…I’d never know you’re new to this stuff.
Very nice. I really enjoyed seeing how it was tied together. Being pulled in from a very strange demented place.
P.S. The BEST scene, clearly the most profound and perfect – the one that I was in – got edited out. (note Fire Walk With Me special features humor)
LOL. True, that was a great scene, but that’s what special feature DVD’s are all about. Not for showing the deleted scenes, but for talking about them.
I can’t stop grinning. That’s what this did. I have to ask, did you have the song in mind when you took the pictures?
I really liked the skeleton pulling itself along the floor. I think you’re a natural.
I started by snapping pictures at long exposures at dusk as I was walking down the street (the part with all the bouncing lights). After pulling the photos into Final Cut, I thought the Dan Deacon song sounded good with those images, but then, I started getting ideas for more… Adam with the skeleton make-up, the fire-engine, and the little girl spinning in the sink. The rest grew out of that.
Hey Jonas! I liked it….creative and creepy. Good Job! I hope to see you the next time you are visiting your Dad out here.
Take care and please send me any other work of yours that you want.

Usually the skeleton is on the inside, nothing like losing innocence down the drain…
