I think one of the things I like best about traveling is the part many people like the least, the travel itself. I love the waiting. The quiet time.

On our last night, while I’m pulling bags out of the rental car in the parking lot of the North Hollywood Super 8 motel, Mary asks if she can see the camera for a second. When I get home and pull up all the pictures from the trip, this is what I see. Gotta love it when she does that.
