Originally we were booked to take a cruise around New Zealand’s Milford Sound, but the morning of the cruise we received a phone call from Milford Tours saying that the cruise had been canceled due to some stormy weather heading in. They told us we could fly in (see previous post) if we left a little earlier than planned. We could touch down and still be able to walk around for twenty minutes or so, and then fly back before the weather got too bad. When we ended up getting there the weather was actually quite nice, but there was something definitely brewing up above.
